I tried out appliqué for a fabric exploration. The fabric used is cotton. The stitches used are blanket stitch, buttonhole stitch (for the eyes) and herringbone stitch (for the beak and the legs)

hey, u can use buttons for eye (especially which are used in teddy bears and doll), also u can use furr or cotton in the dark area to give a smooth touch effect.
